Traditional Reiki

Rei: Spirit - consciousness

 Ki: Energy - sensation

The combination of both translates as the " Power of the spirit"  or "energy of the spirit". Traditional Reiki is a form of energy therapy that originated in Japan. It is based on the human spirit's traditional and natural potency.

This technique allows to gently and effectively induce the body in a deep relaxation and consequently the mind falls into a meditative state.  The patient's energy can flow freely and activate his innate healing and solving resources leaving one feeling relaxed and at peace.

Ultimately, the body, energy and mind align to find one's own organic and sustainable healing solutions.

The practitioner helps activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restores physical and emotional well-being by means of touch. The practitioner places their hands on the patient's body in a series of hand positions, which include the head, shoulders, stomach, and feet.

Traditional Reiki takes place in a quiet, peaceful setting.
